Creating something for social media featuring an influencer usually means it’s going to be seen a lot. When that person is Usain Bolt, that becomes a next level number of eyeballs.
After being handed the track, a heap of random footage and the Optus branding guide we went to work crafting visuals that connected reggae, Bolt, summer, and Optus. Everything coming together in a blast of color and energy to complement the musical beats and fluid dance moves.
The piece was a hit and resulted in Optus extending its use with 15 and 30 second cutdowns for their TV channels, and a second social release on New Year’s Eve.
